Gwen Stefani’s obviously decided that she needs to inject a bit of colour into 2014’s pop proceedings if the cover image of her new single ‘Spark The Fire’ is anything to go by.
Her love of all things Harajuku and Japanese is proudly on display, not only on the cover, but also in the official video clip, which premiered a short time ago here in Australia.
There are some stunning images (Gwen’s looking as phenomenal as ever), a splash of product placement, plenty of post-production screen pops and a very familiar looking man in a hat. We guess the latter stands to reason, given Pharrell co-wrote and produced it.

Pharrell is so overrated.
Happy was incredible but seriously everything else he does is crapola

Hey Anonymous,
No word from Universal locally about a release date, so we’re presuming someone in the US will press “go” for a global digital release sometime in the next few days.

I don’t understand why Baby Don’t Lie wasn’t a big hit. This song doesn’t really do it for me

Well it’s much stronger than Baby Don’t Lie. Much better track. Interesting video. very repetitive but it has her attitude so all in all…Better.
