It’s a big day in the evolution of Melbourne outfit Masketta Fall, with their debut single ‘Summertime Girls’ released today.
The four gents (Ben, Braden, Jamie and Moli) recently inked a deal with Universal and with after the global explosion of fellow Aussie four piece 5 Seconds Of Summer, it’s no doubt hoped that the Masketta Fall gents could do the same.
According to the peeps at their label, “Jamie brought a drum kit to a 16th birthday party and was spotted by Ben playing to an Aerosmith song. Braden and Ben were schoolmates and had already been jamming together. Meanwhile Moli was recruited on bass because a) he was good and b) they figured he could be the ‘good looking one’.”
They’ve already played the support role for both American Authors and You Me At Six and now they’re off on their own adventure with the decidedly tongue-in-cheek single, which is all about the guys’ feeble (some would say utterly ridiculous) attempts to attract the laydees.

No Sorry. There’s no room for any more boy bands at the moment.
Thanks.
