It’s almost seven months since Swedish supergroup Roxette announced they were returning to our shores after an absence of a few years.
They locked in dates in each of the five main capitals at the time, along with ‘A Day On The Green’ shows at both Bimbadgen Wines in the Hunter Valley and at Rochford Wines in Victoria’s Yarra Valley.
But today, the band has announced they’ll play a second and final Sydney show; Wednesday February 25 on the steps of the iconic Sydney Opera House as part of the week-long ‘On The Steps’ series of concerts.
“To play this show on the steps of the Sydney Opera House is an absolute honour and is sure to be a major highlight of the tour!” Per Gessle said.
As with all of the dtaes, they’ll be rolling out their catalogue of hits including ‘The Look’, which celebrated its 25th anniversary earlier this year, along with ‘Joyride’, ‘It Must Have Been Love’, ‘Dangerous’, ‘Listen To Your Heart’ and ‘How Do You Do’, as well as “a few surprises”.
A Live Nation pre-sale will commence at 10am on Tuesday December 09 before general public tickets go live from 10am on Thursday December 11.
