It’s only a couple of months before Californian outfit Counting Crows returns to Australia for a series of live shows as part of their ‘Somewhere Under Wonderland’ global tour.
Along with an appearance at Bluesfest in Byron Bay, the chaps had already confirmed headline shows in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth and Adelaide.
But demand for tickets in our largest city has forced touring company Live Nation into adding a second Sydney show to proceedings.
The band will now crack out their songs (presumably including their 1993 breakout smash ‘Mr Jones’, their 2003 cover of ‘Big Yellow Taxi’, ‘Accidentally In Love’ and more) on Friday April 10, again at the State Theatre.
A fan club pre-sale kicks off at midday on Monday, with general public tickets on sale from 10am on Wednesday February 04.
