Us Aussies are taking British singer songwriter James Bay under our wings.
The up and coming star, who’s already won the prestigious Brit’s ‘Critics Choice Award’ and who was runner up in the BBC’s ‘Sound Of 2015’ poll is flying in the top five on our local iTunes chart with his breakout smash ‘Hold Back The River’, prompting his label Universal to strike while the iron’s hot.
They’ve announced that James’ debut album ‘Chaos And The Calm’ will be given an Australian release in March.
Featuring a dozen songs, including the title tracks from his ‘Hold Back The River’ and ‘Let It Go’ EPs, the album has gone live for pre-orders today. It’s due at Australian retailers on Friday March 20.
