It’s a rather splendid day for local fans of now merged British outfit McBusted, with the boys confirming that while they’re on the ground in Australia to support One Direction on their national stadium tour, they’ll also drop into smaller venues in both Sydney and Melbourne to perform their very own headline shows.
Naturally, they’ll be breaking out all the hits from their Busted and McFly pasts, but they’ll also be performing tracks from their recently-released self-titled album (which is due to hit in physical format this Friday).
“Touring is the most fun a band can have without taking our clothes off and kicking back in a jacuzzi with the entire Arsenal Football team,” the band said in a statement. “So, we are bringing our filthy pasty English bodies Down Under to play some awesome shows and test out your jacuzzi game. We are so exited we are all doing little wees!”
Tickets are on sale at 9am tomorrow.
