It might be almost eight years since US R&B star Bobby Brown toured Australia, but local fans are going to have to wait just that little bit longer, with news today that the performer has postponed his Australian visit to allow him to spend more time with his family.
But the new dates aren’t too far into the future; just over two months to be precise, but along with the date changes, there are also a couple of changes to some of the venues.
The March 18 Eatons Hill Hotel show in Brisbane will move to May 26 at Jupiter’s Casino on the Gold Coast.
Sydney’s Enmore Theatre and Rooty Hill RSL gigs will remain, just now on the new dates of May 29 and 28 respectively, while in Melbourne, the show moves from March 19 at the Forum Theatre to May 30 at the Palais Theatre.
All tickets for the original dates remain valid for the new shows.
Mister Brown is due to roll out the hits, including ‘Good Enough’, ‘Humpin’ Around’, ‘My Prerogative’ and ‘Every Little Step’, to keep the purists satisfied as part of the four dates.
