Well this is just a bit addictive. Melbourne singer songwriter Jane Elizabeth Hanley has just dropped her new single ‘Survival’, under her electronic moniker Kids At Midnight.
Created in her home studio, Jane’s soft vocals purr angelically above the hushed, sumptuous electronica of the track, which she says perfectly represents the current Kids At Midnight sound.
“When writing ‘Survival’ I envisaged a documentary from the future where they’d found this girl who was stuck in the past, not being able to evolve like everyone else who was in this world of love,” she sayd of the song. “She never found love or was never able to be loved. It’s quite a personal perspective I guess, translated through a storyline of anthropological research.”
And amazingly, Jane’s giving it away free for a limited time via her Soundcloud page.
So give it a listen, download and let its magic wash over you.
