Sydney artist PJ Wolf (aka Thief) has done alright for himself over the past 12 months, collecting accolades from across the planet and notching up more than four and a half million plays on Spotify for his debut EP, ‘Closer’.
Now Thief returns with new single ‘Crazy’, which premiered on Triple J late last week ahead of its local digital release tomorrow. And if you’re loving the currently proliferation of ’80s synths and funky beats on our charts, ‘Crazy’ is bound to find favour with you.
Co-produced with M-Phazes, the single flows with vocal samples, a dusting of vocoder and oozes funk (and style) from every pore.
To celebrate its release, Thief heads out on the road next month for the following series of live dates;
March 20 : Melbourne (Shebeen)
March 21 : Adelaide (Pirie & Co)
March 26 : Sydney (Newtown Social Club)
March 28 : Brisbane (Alhambra Lounge)
* He’ll also perform at Perth’s Sets On The Beach on March 22 and the Southern Cross Arts Festival in Lismore on March 27.
