Canadian native Lowell dropped her debut album ‘We Loved Her Dearly’ on iTunes back in September last year, except in the UK, where the LP is finally due for release early next month.
On it, she explores a range of topics not normally breached in the mainstream world of pop (sexual abuse, abortion and women’s rights among them) and she’s also a big champion for LGBTI rights.
The next single to be lifted from it is ‘I Love You Money’, the clip for which premiered on Friday local time. And, as the title suggests, it largely revolves around the singer’s obsession for cash.
Oodles of bank notes? Check. Beefcakes? Check. Dancing through a thrift store wearing a pair of fluorescent-coloured pants? Erm… Check.
