British chart darling Charli XCX will tour Australia’s East Coast from late April.
The singer, who first rose to prominence via her featured performance on Icona Pop’s chart smash ‘I Love It’ has been a chart regular in Australia over the past couple of years, though her collaboration with Iggy Azalea (‘Fancy’) and via two consecutive top ten hits in ‘Boom Clap’ and ‘Break The Rules’.
Her new single ‘Doing It’, with Rita Ora making a guest appearance, will no doubt follow its predecessors into the upper reaches of the chart, especially with the Australian visit locked in.
With special guest Tkay Maidza in support tow, Charli will play Sydney’s Metro Theatre on April 29 ahead of performances for fans in both Melbourne and Brisbane.
A Frontier pre-sale kicks off from noon on Tuesday Feb 10 ahead of general public tickets, which are on sale from 10am local time on Friday February 13.
