He was one fifth of Irish outfit Westlife (a quarter after the departure of Brian McFadden), and although we’ve been witness to the impressive power of Mark Feehily’s vocals (hello ‘Flying Without Wings’) within the band, we’ve never really had the chance to hear them shine in their own right. Until now.
Premiering in the UK earlier this evening Australian time is the singer’s debut solo single ‘Love Is A Drug’.
Co-penned and produced with Steve Anderson and MoJam (producer) and Tinashe Fazarkerley (writer), the new single was premiered on former bandmate Nicky Byrne’s Irish radio show.
And brilliantly, former Aussie Westlife fans will be thrilled to know that the track has also popped up on our local iTunes store for pre-order.
‘Love Is A Drug’ is due impact retail on Sunday April 19.
