She was only hours out from taking to the stage for her Melbourne show, but Jessie J has cancelled the rest of her Australian concert dates due to illness.
Jessie kicked off her run of shows in Brisbane on Friday; the tour continuing with Saturday night’s show in Sydney.
But word has just come through from the team at Frontier Touring, confirming that the British starlet’s shows in Melbourne, Perth and Adelaide won’t go ahead.
A statement from the singer herself reads, “Due to sudden illness I have unfortunately been medically advised to cancel my three remaining shows in Australia, so I can give myself time to rest and get better. I am extremely sorry for any inconvenience this may cause my fans in Melbourne, Perth and Adelaide. If I could magic myself better and be there I would. I can’t wait to perform for you all in the future. Thank you for your support.”
