It’s clear Aussies are already falling for the debut solo EP from former Silverchair frontman Daniel Johns.
Since the release of ‘Aerial Love’ last Friday, the EP has been tracking at or close to No.1 on the iTunes albums chart.
So it stands to reason that Daniel would want to premiere his new music in the live sphere in front of a hometown crowd; announced as part of the line-up for the 2015 Vivid Live today.
Daniel will play two shows as part of the annual festival; both at the Sydney Opera House Concert Hall in what will be his global solo debut.
“I’ve spent years working on this new album so what better way to send it out into the world than by playing all those songs live for the first time at the Sydney Opera House,” the singer said in a statement. “I’m both really looking forward to it and totally scared to death.”
Tickets for the two performances are on sale from 9am on Friday March 27.
