Yes, yes, we’ve heard it all before, but Madonna has confirmed via her socials tonight that the international ‘Rebel Heart’ tour will touch down in Australia.
“Additional tour dates for Asia and Australia are expected to be announced soon,” a statement reads.
If she keeps good on her promise this time around (a weaker Australian dollar should work in our favour in this instance), it’ll be the Queen Of Pop’s first visit to our shores in 22 years.
Dates have already been confirmed for both the US and Europe. Naturally, we’ll keep you up to date with news as it comes to hand.

yeah I’ll believe she’s coming when she actually sets foot

Weaker Aus dollar means she will charge us MORE to make up the profits + travel!

You bet your buns! She’s a greater chance this time ’cause she can make more cash from us!

You have it backwards. Weaker Aussie dollar means it costs less to bring the show here. When our dollar’s been strong, big acts tend to avoid us because it’s already enormously expensive to bring shows over here and tickets would have to be ridiculously priced to make it worthwhile. Not that Madonna will be cheap. After all, she’s Madonna.

Hey Kane,
No, we’ve got it right… “a weaker Australian dollar should work in our favour in this instance” referring to our chances of her actually coming here this time around (i.e. it costs less for her to do so).
And in our response to the previous comment, “she’s a greater chance this time ’cause she can make more cash from us!”
