R&B/pop singer songwriter Andrew De Silva will release a new single on May 8.
‘I See The Future’ is an incredibly infectious, uptempo R&B/pop number that tips its hat more than a little to the classic sounds of Michael Jackson, bringing in a slight Justin Timberlake vibe to ensure it’s right up to the minute style-wise. It’s really good.
Its release comes just over eight months to the day after his ‘Now That I Believe’ EP, which lyrically touched with his spirituality. This time around, however, he’s focused on spreading lyrical positivity and delivering good vibes.
“’I See The Future’, for me, is about escaping. Escaping where we are as a world at the moment and looking to the heavens and beyond the circumstances we’re in, looking to the future and focusing on the positives of life. And I want people to dance – that’s what I was doing when I wrote it. I may have looked silly in the studio, but it’s infectious!” Andrew says of the new track. We’re not arguing.
In fact, it’s so sharp, we reckon this could be the track to send Andrew straight back onto the charts.
‘I See The Future’ will be delivered to media next week ahead of its digital release on Friday May 08.
