As revealed recently, chart regular Timomatic is no more. The boundless energy and enthusiasm we’ve come to expect from him, however, lives on.
Singer songwriter Tim Omaji has decided to call time on his Timomatic moniker as he seeks to reinvent his music career and steer it in a less disposable, more credible direction.
The first fruit of this new direction is his new single ‘Something Bout You’, which was released digitally and physically today.
Not only has his label Sony dropped the track into the retail sphere, but less than half an hour ago, they’ve also dropped the official video.
Gone are the thumping dance beats we’ve known in the past; replaced by a shuffling rhythm section, summery melodies and a more mainstream R&B/pop vibe.
Given the track’s currently sitting outside the top 100 on iTunes, we suspect there’ll be a big media assault over the next few weeks in an effort to get to know the artist formerly known as Timomatic.
