Meet four ebullient young men from Fremantle who are determined to inject a little warmth into your winter via the video for their latest single ‘Full Steam Ahead’.
King’s Justice may still be in its infancy as an outfit; their second EP ‘Geranium’ only blossomed in the middle of last month, but they’re proving with each passing single that they’re very much in season and ready to brighten lives not just across the country, but across the planet.
Of the new single, bandmember Jackson says, “It was one of those songs that wrote itself from the get go, the riff and the progression came together in one session, and the bulk of the lyrics shortly after.
“The breakdown came from a song that Matt and I had written together nearly two years earlier, and we got it into our live set as quickly as we could. We knew it was catchy, and we knew it had potential, but once we got it into the studio we were taken aback by how well all the parts came together, and how much Tim was able to evolve what’s essentially a simple song.”
In an auspOp premiere, we lift the lid on the clip for ‘Full Steam Ahead’, allowing it to deliver its summery coastal WA postcard and hopefully chase away your (pre) winter chills.
