It’s a month today to the second of the semi-finals at this year’s Eurovision Song Contest. That, of course, means that we’re less than a month out from the start of this year’s competition.
Cyprus this year will send Giannis Karagiannis (John Karayiannis) along to compete in the second of the semi finals, armed with his co-penned English language single ‘One Thing I Should Have Done’.
So what’s it like?
It’s quite sweet in an Ed Sheeran sort of way. Singer songwriter with an acoustic guitar kinda vibe. Warm, sweet chorus, whimsical feel.
In a competition where entrants are known for wheeling out all the bells and whistles, ‘One Thing I Should Have Done’ may very well stand out and make it to the final. That, or send the audience to sleep.
