He had us at ‘hello’. Actually, that’s a lie. He had us at ‘Hurtful’. It was his debut single back in 2008. And it was brilliant.
So colour us a little excited that Sony Music has decided to get cracking on establishing the Swedish popster as a genuine contender for some local airplay with his latest single ‘No Words’.
And let’s just say, when the song repeats the lyrics, “I can’t get enough” over and over towards the end, we’re certainly feeling precisely what he’s saying, because with just one joyous, infectious single, Mister Hassle has gone straight to the upper echelons of the pop class of 2015.
What a smart, catchy, likeable pop tune; which now has an effervescent video clip that features a scene of two young women preparing their breakfasts before the entire scene is overrun by a certain popstar with messy on his mind. Brilliant!
No wonder Sony decided to release this. They know when they’re onto a good thing.
