Seriously, can you believe that we’ve JUST ticked over into Eurovision month!? Yes, it’s now just two and a half week until the eyes of Europe (and here in Australia), will be firmly affixed on the Austrian capital Vienna for the first of the semi finals in the competition’s 60th edition.
Competing in that first semi final will be the Eastern European country of Georgia who, through the luck of the draw, will be performing last, meaning that their song ‘Warrior’ will be freshest in the minds of viewers across the continent as they go to cast their votes.
A former winner of ‘Sakartvelos Varskvlavi’ (her country’s version of ‘Idol’, 20 year old Nina Sublatti will carry the hopes of her nation on her tiny shoulders.
The track’s buzzing with international appeal and, despite being a little repetitive, is well positioned to sail on through to the grand final. Dix points.
