Overnight last night, we brought you the Georgian entry. It’s the final act in the first of the semi finals in this year’s Eurovision Song Contest. Now we bring you the Polish entry, which is filling the final place in the second semi final.
As with Georgia’s entry, Poland stands a good chance of moving through to the Grand Final simply because their song will be freshest in the minds of Europe when voting gets underway after the performances.
But what’s it like?
We have no doubt that former rock band frontwoman Monika Kuszyńska will do Poland proud with ‘In The Name Of Love’, a sweeping ballad complete with a clip that’s like a photographic look back through her career. She spends most of the clip reclined on the floor of a stately looking home. But there’s a very good reason why. Sept points.
