We spend a little bit of time paying out major commercial radio networks for not supporting local talent nearly as much as they should.
But every now and again, they do good and support an unknown. This is the case with up and coming Brisbane songstress Ella Ferdinands, who’s been given support by Brisbane’s HIT105 (formerly B105) for her new track ‘Dapper Love’.
Co-penned by Bec Caruana (remember ‘Dance All Night’?), the track’s a super-confident, cute, infectious pop number that will resonate with almost everyone who has a Meghan Trainor track in their iTunes folder. So it’s a little bit ‘then’ (i.e. ’60s-influenced), but oh so ‘now’.
Take a listen below and see if you can resist the temptation to tap your toes.
