The name Michelle Serret-Cursio might not be instantly familiar to you, but she’s arguably one of the hardest working vocalists in the country.
She’s worked in the theatre and she’s appeared on the stage of ‘The Voice’, but she’s perhaps best known for her role for providing extraordinarily live vocals dance after dance, week after week on ‘Dancing With The Stars’.
Her debut album ‘Should I Be’ has been a long time coming and gives audiences a glimpse into her talent – and her range – throughout its ten tracks.
There are the numbers to appease and seduce the ‘Dancing’ crowd, including the stunning ‘Tennessee Waltz’ and ‘Llorando’, but the album comes with a couple of original pop numbers in the Robert Parde co-penned title track ‘Should I Be’ and her self-penned ‘Here I Stand’. It’s the latter we’re bringing to you this morning.
It’s a totally likeable uptempo pop/dance track (the only one on the album), comes complete with a key change (Eurovision entry, anyone?) and it’s helmed Michelle’s incredible vocal. Take a listen below and check out the album ‘Should I Be’, out now.
