Well here’s a lovely surprise for a Monday afternoon/evening… British starlet Rita Ora has today unveiled her brand new single ‘Poison’ in what’s the first shot in a barrage of new music expected from her throughout the remaining seven months of the year.
And she’s certainly brimming with confidence with the new release, saying, “It was really important for me to come back with the right song. It’s been a while and I wanted to come back with a bang.”
According to her team at Sony (who also serviced the track to media late this afternoon), expect to see her all-important sophomore album in the shops by year’s end. It’s set to comprise collaborations with Dr Luke, Stargate, The Monsters and Strangerz.
“I’ve grown up a lot on this album,” the singer explains. “’Ora’ seems like a lifetime ago. The new music is still pop but has a lot more depth to it. It’s real.”
The track is due digitally shortly.
