Courtney Act is ready to roll out the red carpet for her next EP.
The ‘Drag Race’ queen and Aussie favourite will release the ‘Kaleidoscope’ EP internationally on Tuesday July 07, giving fans across the planet six new tunes that have been inspired by the likes of Madonna, Grace Jones, Cher and Lady Gaga, as well as John Lennon and Yoko Ono.
“It’s a little bit Kylie, a bit Tove Lo, a bit Robyn, and a good dollop of Vegemite,” the songstress says of the upcoming release. “I recommend listening to it while jumping on your bed in your pyjamas.”
And it seems she’s had a whole heap of top name talent helping her in the co-writing department, with Scissor Sisters’ Jake Shears and our own Sam Sparro among those contributing.
New single ‘Ugly’ will make its way to Aussie media from Monday next week, with the official video due to premiere on the same day.
As mentioned, the ‘Kaleidoscope’ EP will drop globally on Tuesday July 07.
