US superstar Jason Derulo is already starting to kick some serious chart goals here in Australia with his latest single ‘Cheyenne’. Though we’re the only country in the world to have the song charting thus far, it’s doing rather well, peaking thus far at No.26.
Naturally the addition into the mix of the official video, which premiered today, can only assist its chart chances.
It opens, the camera creeping eerily through an opulent garden, with a truly macabre-sounding soundtrack and when the sight of the oversized full moon appears above the homestead, we’re lulled into suspecting this may be headed in the direction of werewolves. But it’s not.
Though we are thrust into an other world. Those scared of seeing dolls with no eyes best avert their gaze. And there’s plenty of creepy looking humans and goings on that might cause your skin to crawl.
Comparisons to MJ’s ‘Thriller’ will no doubt be banded about, but ‘Cheyenne’ is bloody good.
