It’s a big day for fans of electronic/indie group Safia, with the premiere of their new single ‘Embracing Me’ on Triple J this morning. The track, set for release on July 10, is another step on the road to superstardom for the Canberra outfit, with a myriad shimmering beats, blips and samples all combining with spectacular effect (listen below).
To celebrate its release, the band is headed out on the road for what will be their last headline tour of 2015.
After appearances at Splendour, Beat The Heat in Karratha and the Darwin Festival, the chaps will kick proceedings off at Karova Lounge in Ballarat on Thursday August 20, visiting centres in New South Wales, Queensland, Western Australia, South Australia and the ACT in the weeks following.
