Though it’s not an official single, British dance/pop diva of the moment, Jess Glynne, has dropped a video for a song called ‘Why Me’, which is lifted from her forthcoming debut artist album ‘I Cry When I Laugh’.
And given the incredible gesture of generosity in doing so, we thought we’d repay the favour and give her a little of our love here at auspOp.
The clip itself is quite raw; seemingly following Jess around as she rehearses against a city backdrop for an upcoming stage show. There’s plenty of that artistic blurring which makes you feel the camera person may have been drunk, but it’s all in the art, obviously.
It’s clear that ‘Why Me’ was never primed for single status, but it provides us another tantalising glimpse into the world of the upcoming album, due at the end of the month.
