It’s just over four years since singer songwriter Damien Leith released his Roy Orbison tribute album, ‘Roy’.
But the performer has today confirmed that he’ll be reprising the material for a handful of dates in April next year to coincide with what would have been Roy Orbison’s 80th birthday.
“This show will be a celebration of the legendary Roy Orbison and his timeless classics,” says Damien of the upcoming dates. “The last time we toured this show, the reaction was incredible. The atmosphere at every show was electric and the fact that so many sold out so fast was overwhelming. I decided to do this short run of shows because I love performing the songs and also to celebrate what would have been his 80th birthday.”
Tickets for the shows are on sale now.
