Up and coming Sydney singer Lupa J is slowly but surely becoming a regular fixture on the pages of this here website, what with free downloads, new singles and, naturally, music videos.
The latest is, naturally, for her just-released new single ‘Armour’ and we soon discover that she’s a big advocate for public transport, waiting for a train – seemingly close to the stroke of midnight – on Asquith Station in Sydney’s Northern suburbs.
But what puzzles us is the fact a train pulls in and she decides not to get on board. Well, there IS a video clip to shoot after all…
She also stands silhouetted against the headlights of a car, meaning she appreciates all manner of transport forms.
In less experienced hands, this clip could have looked pretty cheap and tacky. As it is, it (and the single accompanying it) is a pretty alluring proposition.
