Sydney starlet Lupa J continues to kick some serious career goals, this time making it down to the final five in the finalists category in Triple J’s yearly ‘Unearthed High’ competition for the second consecutive year.
She’s done so at the same time her latest release ‘Armour’ starts making waves with the national broadcaster.
“‘Armour’ was inspired by those who try to become tough or aggressive in an attempt to deal with difficult emotions that are oft perceived as weakness,” Lupa says in a statement (yes, she uses ‘oft’!). “It’s about avoiding those real emotions and in the end, leaving someone out of touch with their most honest, sensitive side, all whilst hurting others in the process.”
