This feels like it’s been coming for an interminably long time, but finally, finally Natalie Imbruglia’s new single ‘Instant Crush’ looks like having its time in the sunshine here in Australia.
We first broke the news about the new single and album back in early March, confirming that the album (‘Male’) was due to drop at the end of July. Its release has been delayed twice subsequently and is now slated to hit your favourite retailer on Friday September 11.
The video for ‘Instant Crush’ dropped back in the last weeks of April, giving us a hint of the musical stylings of the new LP, which sees Nat covering songs that were originally vocalled by male artists. Hence the title.
In the case of ‘Instant Crush’, it’s a two year old Daft Punk song, originally vocalled by The Strokes frontman Julian Casablancas.

I’m so in love with this track! I’m only a new Nat fan. First album was Come to Life, great album and deserved more.
