After ten long years in the business, Sydney four piece New Empire have confirmed via their social pages that they’re pulling up stumps.
“This decision has not come lightly, and honestly there has been many times when I was fighting it and didn’t want to close this chapter,” says the band’s vocalist Jeremy Fowler, “But there’s a real peace in knowing now is the right time. After releasing our most recent record ‘In A Breath’, it felt like a completion of a season. We are able to celebrate what was, and also know it’s time to move onto the next adventure in life.”
‘In A Breath’ is a gorgeous, touching ballad, dedicated to the boys’ parents who are no longer alive to celebrate their achievements, their milestones and now their goodbyes.
They’ll give fans across the country one last chance to say goodbye, via ‘The Final Tour’ in October, tickets for which are on sale now.
