Robin Thicke quickly became chart poison after his little extra-marital infidelity.
There he was, riding high with ‘Blurred Lines’… a number one hit across the planet. But then it all fell apart, he released the album ‘Paula’ in the hope of wooing his ex back. It tanked. As did its one and only single ‘Get Her Back’.
But his starring role on the Flo Rida track ‘I Don’t Like It, I Love It’ seemed to bring about a slight thawing in the public’s frosty perceptions of him, so could Robin finally be on his way back into the wider public’s good books?
It’s got a great feel, it’s got a great vibe, it’s got a great chorus and it’s also got an appearance by Nicki Minaj to give it a better chance of getting on the radio.
But will it also have the support of the public? That remains to be seen.
Michael Prionas says
I don’t really think his chart fortunes faded because of his infidelity – I just think his music releases were crap after Blurred Lines. This is definitely a step in the right direction though.
