It’s a big morning for festival line-up announcements, with organisers of the annual Falls Festivals this morning confirming theirs.
But the people behind Western Australia’s Southbound Festival, which is set to hit Busselton’s Sir Stewart Bovell Park again from January 08 to January 10 next yea, have also confirmed theirs. And it’s pretty much identical to that of Falls, albeit with one or two changes.
So in are… Foals, Bloc Party, Disclosure, Weird Al Yankovic, Django Django, Paul Kelly & The Merri Soul Sessions (with Dan Sultan, Kira Puru, Vika & Linda and Clairy Browne in tow), Hilltop Hoods, Gary Clark Jr., Mac DeMarco, Courtney Barnett, Rüfüs, Birds Of Tokyo, Gang Of Youths, The Maccabees, Hiatus Kaiyote, Seth Sentry, Alpine, Halsey, Meg Mac, Little May and more.
And, like Falls out east, organisers are now kicking off festivities with an all-new opening night party entitled ‘Friday Night Fever’, which will deliver performances from Art vs Science, Perth’s HWLS, Fremantle’s Koi Child and The Dancing Accountant.
Ticket pre-sales kick off from 9am AWST this Wednesday, August 05. General public tickets are on sale from 9am AWST on Monday August 10.
