With the Falls Festival sideshows now seemingly out of the way, tickets for which mostly go on sale this Thursday morning, attention has turned to the upcoming Laneway Festivals across the country and those artists who’ll be treating fans to headline shows while they’re in the country.
Consider up and coming Texan star Leon Bridges, who released his critically acclaimed debut album ‘Coming Home’ in the middle of the year, as one of the artists to play shows in Sydney and Melbourne while he’s here.
Leon will hit the stage at Sydney’s Metro Theatre on Sunday January 03, before zipping down to Melbourne for a show at 170 Russell on January 07.
Tickets are on sale from 9:00am AEDT this Friday.
Also confirming Sydney and Melbourne headliners this morning are LA outfit Wavves. Hot on the heels of the launch of their fifth album ‘V’, the band will play the Oxford Art Factory on Saturday January 02 before heading to Melbourne for a gig at the city’s Max Watt’s the following night.
Tickets are on sale from 9am AEDT tomorrow.
