With his long-awaited debut album ‘Yours’ confirmed for release later this month, local soul/pop star Nathaniel has today released his latest single, ‘Always Be Yours’. And it’s a song that holds special, personal meaning.
“I wrote ‘Always Be Yours’ with Anthony Egizii and David Musumeci of DNA Songs, and at the time I was planning on getting married so I wanted to write something very special for my wedding day,” Nathaniel explains. “Between the three of us, the song’s meaning came from different perspectives, but ultimately it’s about the purity of love. This song is so much more than just another love song from a guy to a girl, it’s about finding someone who loves you unconditionally and who helps you to be a better person. It’s definitely a song that stands out from everything else on the album and what I’ve done before. It’s the most meaningful song on the album for me.”
Nathaniel has been confirmed to perform the song on ‘The X Factor’ on Tuesday October 27, which should give both it and the album a nice little kick along, but he’s also announced a trio of instore appearances to meet with his public and sign copies of the album.
Further dates are to be announced, but in the meantime, you’ll catch him at the following;
October 23 @ 4:30pm : Brisbane (Queen Street Mall)
October 25 @ 12:00pm : Melton (Woodgrove Shopping Centre)
October 28 @ 5:00pm : St Mary’s (St Mary’s Sound)
