He had Kylie Minogue spinning around on last year’s season of ‘The Voice’ and now, armed with a new label deal with the team at Universal Records, Johnny Rollins hopes to have the rest of the country swooning with delight over his new single ‘High’.
A stylistic departure for the Victorian, who says of the track, “It’s a good representation of where I’m at and where I’ve come from as a musician. It’s definitely a different spin on what people typically expect to hear from me. I’m veering a little further out from the r’n’b laneway and it’s got a more catchy, electric pop sound to it.”
Clip-wise, Johnny begins in the studio and then pops in the car for a drive down the coast to take in some of the country’s most spectacular natural sights and perform an intimate gig. All very relaxed and quintessentially Australian.
