The guys at Triple J know when they’re onto a good thing. They’ve been championing the cause of local artists from across the genre spectrum for the past 30+ years.
But the teams at Midnight Feature and Inertia too know they’ve got something rather special in their pockets with Sydney pop artist Elizabeth Rose.
She’s fast becoming a regular returnee to our pages too. And for good reason, given she keeps on delivering desperately decent pop gems like new single ‘Shoulda Coulda Woulda’.
Premiered on Triple J earlier in the week, the single is lifted from her just-announced debut album ‘Intra’, which is slated to drop in early March.
‘Shoulda Coulda Woulda’ is a totally likeable, seriously impressive piece, with more than a little hint of ’90s Janet bathed in a sublime electronic soundtrack, courtesy of ever-talented Gold Coast native M-Phazes, who also served as co-writer.
This has us very, very excited for the album. Single out Friday. Album out March 04.
