While the world waits for confirmation of an entirely new Sam Smith album to follow up his incredible debut ‘In The Lonely Hour’, we’re just going to have to make do with a deluxe edition for Christmas, but it’s seemingly one worth looking out for.
The ‘Drowning Shadows Edition’ of ‘In The Lonely Hour’ comprises not only the songs that have made him a household favourite across the world, including ‘Stay With Me’, ‘Leave Your Lover’, ‘I’m Not The Only One’, ‘Like I Can’ and ‘Lay Me Down’, but a nine track second disc comprising new and exclusive tracks.
It houses an exclusive new tune entitled ‘Drowning Shadows’ (hence the title), along with his covers of Amy Winehouse’s ‘Love Is A Losing Game’ and Whitney Houston’s ‘How Will I Know’, along with live and acoustic songs and collaborations with Mary J Blige, A$AP Rocky and John Legend.
‘In The Lonely Hour : Drowning Shadows Edition’ will be released on Friday November 06.

Hmm, there’s no way in this ‘world’ Sam Smith is overrated – his work with Mary J Blige, Disclosure etc is sublime. A great artist emerging & with millions of fans already across the globe, it’s no exaggeration – the world is waiting for this release!! Why would there be a need for a non-fan, one person with an opinion which differs, to make comment on a ‘pOp’ related article, featuring on a ‘pOp’ related site – maybe time for them to look up the meaning of the words ‘popular music’ and the culture of such! Err … and ‘Stanning for Sam’ kinda sounds great … ha ha

‘The world waits’. I know you’re stanning for this overrated act but there’s no need to exaggerate
