Brisbane producer Feki continues to impress – and how – with his latest single ‘Quiet Minds’.
We haven’t featured him since his single ‘Nothing Lasts Forever’ dropped back in August last year, but this new track proves that he’s lost none of his appetite for growth and ear for a great melody.
And it’s clear that he’s being championed far and wide, claiming the latest edition of Triple J’s respected ‘Unearthed’ competition and picking up airplay on the esteemed BBC Radio 1.
Featuring the utterly sublime, fragile vocals of Emily, ‘Quite Minds’ is already impressing, featuring a dreamy ambient first 66 seconds before a beat drops in, revealing an utterly beguiling soundtrack of polished electronica that, in parts, reminds us a little of Telepopmusik’s classic ‘Breathe’.
You’ll find the single at digital retailers across the country from tomorrow.
