It’s been a couple of years since we last heard from Sydney outfit Tonight Alive.
Back in September 2013 they released their sophomore album ‘The Other Side’ to a rather decent commercial reception; it came in at No.5 on the ARIA albums chart.
After plenty of blood, sweat, travel and tears, however, the band will launch their third album ‘Limitless’ in March next year.
“‘Limitless’ is a record that is just as much about redefining boundaries as it is about challenging the illusory concept of boundaries itself,” frontwoman Jenna McDougall says in a statement. “Our mission in both the song writing and recording process was to dissolve all restriction and repression of the mental, physical and spiritual; and grant ourselves an opportunity to be expressive at our highest capacity.”
They’ll be doing plenty of the latter at three East Coast album launch shows, set down for the middle of January.
The band will kick things off at Max Watts in Melbourne on January 17 and zip up to The Triffid in Brisbane on January 21 before descending on The Metro in their home town on January 29.
Pre-sales kick off from 9am on Wednesday, with general public tickets on sale from midday on Friday November 06.
‘Limitless’ will be released on Friday March 04.
