Kendall Lake is obviously an incredibly generous woman. The LA-based singer songwriter only appeared back on our pages in September, offering up her previous single ‘Voices’ as a free download. And now here she is, doing it all over again with her new one, ‘Lay You Down’.
That it’s notched up more than 40,000 streams on her Soundcloud page in little more than a few days, says something about the growing esteem in which she’s being held.
‘Lay You Down’ is a synth-laden urban-leaning pop number with a much darker lyrical twist, as Kendall tells the tale of how she feels she’s going to escape a poisonous relationship.
