Known for his work as the frontman for Matchbox Twenty and a successful music career in his own right, Rob Thomas has been a part of our lives for more than 20 years.
This year, he dropped ‘The Great Unknown’, his third solo record and first since 2009’s ‘Cradlesong’. And it’s the new album he’ll be supporting as he tours Australia from late February.
Not only will Rob play headline shows in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, the Hunter Valley and Canberra, two ‘A Day On The Green’ events are locked in, along with a star performance as the headline act at the Clipsal 500 V8 Supercars race in Adelaide on Sunday March 06.
Aussie favourite Pete Murray will support Rob on all shows, while former Powderfinger guitarist Darren Middleton will pop up at the Hunter Valley, Yarra Valley and Mount Cotton shows.
A Telstra Thanks pre-sale kicks off at 9am on Friday, with general public tickets hitting the sales desk from 10am local time on Wednesday November 25.
