Legendary Welsh performer Tom Jones will embark on a headline tour of Australia in March next year; the announcement coming off the back of Tom’s inclusion on the Bluesfest bill in Byron Bay.
It’s a staggering 50 years this year since Tom set out on his musical journey via the smash hit ‘It’s Not Unusual’. It was a track that delivered him a big No.1 hit in the UK and paved the way for many others to follow, including ‘What’s New Pussycat?’, ‘Green, Green Grass Of Home’, ‘Delilah’ in the ’60s, through to ‘Kiss’, ‘If I Only Knew’ and ‘Burning Down The House’ in the ’80s and ’90s and even dance hits ‘Sex Bomb’ and ‘Stoned In Love’ in the noughties.
