The 2016 APRA Music Awards will take over Sydney’s Carriageworks on Tuesday April 05.
The awards are an opportunity to celebrate Australian music and those who continue to create and contribute to the music industry down under and are handed out in a number of categories including Pop Work Of The Year, Dance Work Of The Year, Most Played Australian Work and the coveted APRA Song Of The Year.
20 songs (below) have made the shortlist for voting in the latter, with artists like Daniel Johns, Chet Faker, Vance Joy and Tame Impala among the artists represented.
APRA members will vote on their choices until 5pm on Tuesday February 09, with the list of nominees for this year’s event expected to surface late next month.
