It hasn’t taken long for Tinashe to become one of the hottest properties on planet pop.
The 22 year old performer has spent the past couple of years slowly building a name for herself via vocal appearances on tracks from Kid Ink, Nick Jonas and Ty Dolla $ign, along with Snakehips on the current top ten chart smash ‘All My Friends’.
She also hit the top 30 in Australia in her own right with her breakout single ‘2 On’, which went on to achieve a gold sales certification.
Now Live Nation has revealed that the singer will return to Australia for performances in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth in May this year in support of her forthcoming sophomore album ‘Joyride’.
Though a release date for the new LP is still to be determined, it’s set to feature collaborations with Alex Purple, LULOU, Joel Compass, Nic Nac and the mighty Max Martin, along with her vocal appearances on other artists’ tracks.
The tour, meanwhile, kicks off at Max Watt’s in Brisbane on May 21, before venturing south to the Enmore in Sydney and the Forum Theatre in Melbourne, finally stopping at Metro City in Perth on May 26.
A Telstra Thanks pre-sale kicks off from 10am on Friday ahead of general public sales, which commence from 10am on Monday January 18.
