You may recall these three fresh-faced chaps from last year’s ‘X Factor’.
In Stereo was one of the three groups in the 2015 competition, up against the likes of The Fisher Boys and eventual third place-getters Jess & Matt.
But even though teens Ethan, Jakob and Chris were eliminated in week four of the competition, again losing out to Jess & Matt in a judges’ decision, they’re marching on unfazed and have just dropped their new single ‘Honest’, a collaboration with James Yammouni of The Janoskians fame.
And despite not getting through to the final phases of the TV talent quest, James saw something special in the trio.
“I was in a studio in Sydney over Christmas working on my debut album as a producer/writer and a friend played me their stuff, I immediately fell in love with their voices, asked to meet with them and when I found out they were only 15 years old it was like WOW,” he says. “I saw myself in those boys, young and determined to succeed with the world at their feet! I had to be a part of it, it just felt so natural.”
Hot on the heels of a sold out show at The Lair in Sydney last weekend, In Stereo will embark on three further East Coast headline shows in April, kicking off with a show in Melbourne on April 01.
Tickets are on sale now.
