The boys from Sydney outfit Jæra (that’d be Jordan and Neil) decided to have a little bit of a name change recently, replacing the boring, old-fashioned ‘a’ in their name with the slightly more fancy-pants ‘æ’.
But beyond playing around with old English Latin for their band name, they’ve also found time to concoct and deliver their rather blissful new single ‘Frequencies’.
Sure to find favour with fans of acts like Rüfüs, Flume and Safia, the polished electronic pop track kicks off in a flurry of warped vocals and quickly bursts into a cacophony of samples and glimmering synths.
Brilliantly, the boys have decided to offer the track up as a free download for a limited time.
